| Just put up some new pics at flickr but they are similar to the ones on facebook. we're doing well, it's just so hot. We've been enjoying a friends' apartment pool, but some days, the water is just as warm as the outside air, which is pretty gross.

| Here's Melton's Website.
Melton's is self-described as a neighborhood pub. And it is totally just that. Located near Emory (the intersection of N. Decatur and Scott next to the Pet Supermarket), it draws a faithful crowd because of the variety of beer they serve and the great food. They are known for a couple things. Irish Nachos - This is an amazing appetizer or main dish if you choose, that has plenty of shredded cheeses on top, some bacon and jalapenos, all on top of a bed of wonderful waffle fries! WAFFLE FRIES!!! It's really good.... Jennifer and I have gone on a date to enjoy that, and I was meeting with a friend the other day for lunch and he got the Irish Nachos as his meal! Truly amazing and original.
Melton's Hot Chicken Sandwich has this great Parmasen dressing which makes it a very tasty sandwich.
And some Emory friends love the Hot Brownie.
It's worth trying stuff out.
| So here's some indepth reviews of our fave restaurants. hope you enjoy, atl folks.
Bento - A newer restaurant (opened in the last couple years) that we were introduced to by Jennifer's mom. It's in a weird location (85 and Jimmy Carter in the Office Depot shopping center) but it seems to be working for them fine. Bento, even though it sounds like it would be Japanese, is a Taiwanese joint that specializes in "homemade" Taiwanese fare. Every time we go, we usually will see someone we know, probably from ACCC. And when we went last Sunday after I spoke at ACCC, it was packed with ACCC folks. Our favorite thing to get is the Bento Drum grilled, not fried. I don't know how they grill it, but it is the juiciest piece of chicken you will ever have. The Bento Chop is also good, but just not as good as the Drum. The Chicken Nuggets are worth trying, but they are significantly spicy, so beware. We love getting the Jasmine Milk Green Tea with Lychee jellies also. (you can get no ice so you get more tea!) We've also tried the noodle dishes, which are good, but again, just not as good and filling as the Bento Drum. I'm not sure if we'll ever try anything else! They also provide kids bowls, and utensils which is fun for Adia. A meal usually runs us about $20 for the family. The downsides: sometimes it smells a little funny. I'm not sure why or from what, but it's just not a great smell. The decor is very modern, with steel tables. Not the warmest place in terms of ambiance.

| I just read this off of the L2 foundations' blog. It's a really interesting proposal from Young Nak Pres. Church out in LA. It's about 7 years old, but it's well written and i'm sure it can be used by many.
Here it is.
I've been in conversations in the past about creating this type of church, and i'm not sure it's the best option, but at least it's something to work with and hopefully build off of.
